We envision a world where women are representative as technical executives, founders, VCs, board members, and software engineers. Our programs are designed to get you there.

Who should join?

Our community is for professional women in technology careers, including software engineers, developers, UX/UI designers, data scientists and more. Current and aspiring coders are welcome. Bring your laptop and a friend!

Introducción a la ciencia de datos

Subsecretaría de la Juventud | Sedesol Joven

Esta actividad consiste en impartir un taller de dos sesiones sobre el tema de Introducción a la ciencia de datos en la que se busca despertar el interés de las mujeres en los diferentes subtemas básicos que tiene la ciencia de datos. Llevando a cabo la explicación de conceptos, ejemplos y práctica. Sesión 1: -Introducción con Python: Instalación de Python Instalación de librerías de Numpy, Pandas, MatPlotLib, Plot.ly, Jupyter Notebook -Introducción básica con Pandas: Uso de Jupyter Conceptos de Pandas Análisis de datos usando pandas Visualización de gráficas con MatPlotLib Visualización de gráficas interactivas con Plot.ly -Introducción de múltiples formatos con pandas: Escribir y leer diferentes tipos de formatos con pandas(excel, CSV,JSON, SQL, HTML, etc) -Ejemplos y ejercicios de práctica **NOTAS** - Si tienes dudas escribe a [masked] - Lleva tu laptop - El café corre por nuestra cuenta, no olvides traer tu taza/termo. - Si eres chico puedes asistir siempre y cuando una chica reserve y ponga un +1, y por supuesto ir acompañado de ella. - Si por algún motivo no puedes asistir recuerda CANCELAR tu reservación, así otras chicas tendrán oportunidad de asistir.
