Swing Dance MK will enable you to recreate the dyamic, yet smooth, cheeky dances of the jazz and big band era. We will teach you the original jives or partner dances such as Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa and Charleston in fun, informal yet structured and progressive classes. You will meet new friends, get into shape but most of all have a beam on your face and a spring in your step. Join our new community of swing dancers in Milton Keynes!

Our next Beginners/Improvers classes start on Monday 11th April at Kings Church Community Centre, Creed Street, Wolverton, MK12 5LY at 7.30 for beginners, next level arrive at 8.40 for overlap practice social dancing for 20 minutes and next class starts at 9pm. ALL welcome to do both classes; othe first will prgogress seamlessly into the next.

Swing Dance MK: Lindy Hop Heaven

A weekly drop in class for beginners and experienced dancers where you can learn Lindy Hop without needing to book. This course is run by 3 times British Lindy Hop Champ Andy Fleming and his wife and partner Lindsay Fleming Andy and ‘Linz’ have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are able to cater for beginners through to intermediates with 3 levels of classes in a relaxed and fun style, but never compromising on quality instruction so that you can confidently take to the floor. Venue: Woolstone Community Centre, Mill Lane, Woolstone MK15 0AJ. BEAUTIFULLY SPRUNG FLOOR! Time: Fast Beginners: 7:30pm – 8:10pm, Improvers 8:20pm- 9:00pm, Intermediates 9:10pm – 9:50pm with social practice between classes and from 9:50pm – 10:30pm Please note that the beginners level is for fast beginners who have some dance experience, it may not be suitable for absolute beginner dancers. Learn to Swing Dance at LINDY LAND Aylesbury!

Join us at 'Lindy Land' Aylesbury every Tuesday to learn to swing dance, make friends and enjoying fabulous music from the jazz/swing era and being active too. Classes are run by Sandy Bennett, Founder of Swing Dance Mk ably assisted by a 'demo' team of Jac Ragozzini, Sharon Goyder Smith and Jane Read. Learn Lindy Hop, Charleston and Jazz Steps from the 20s-40s - and follow in the dance steps of the original jivers. Suitable for all ages from 16 years upwards. The first class every night is suitable for beginners then we increase the challenge - most people are dancing in no time. No need to bring a partner, come on your own or with friends - you will get a very warm welcome. Come to Sugar Hill Social with Swing Dance MK at Great Brickhill

Join us at 'Sugar Hill Social' and swing dance the night away!Ideal for social dance practice and getting to know this lovely community.Dancers from other areas very, very welcome too - we would love to welcome you so please pay us a visit. Your hosts are Sandy Bennett and Sarah Robinson accompanied by and introducing Joe Enright who will be a regular teacher at Sugar Hill Social. This is THE night for social dance but we want you to get to know everyone and learn some confidence building moves with 2 short classes which are multi-level which means beginners and more experienced dancers can enjoy them and mix and mingle. We start the evening at 7.45pm with social dancing to get you 'in the mood' the classes start at 8.15pm. Social dancing from 9.15pm. At least one of the classes ...will be partnered lead and follow but we may throw in some jazz step/stroll classes from time to time along with guest teachers and 'tasters' for our courses.
