2nd Annual Christmas Day River Valley Walk!

My name is Nancy and I will be your guide for the Thursday, December 25, 2025 walk for Xplore Wilderness.

Let’s walk in Edmonton’s beautiful River Valley!

Meetup location: Kinsmen Sports Centre (9100 Walterdale Hill). Let’s meet on the stairs leading into the building.

Time: 10:00 am - Noon(ish).

Please note: No washroom stops as all facilities are closed on Dec 25th.

We will go through Queen Elizabeth Park, and head towards Tawatina LRT bridge, and loop back to Kinsmen. It’s an easy to moderate walk, with paved and some rough terrain. Wearing spikes is recommended for icier areas.
