We are interested in getting a good book club going, involving books from all genres including bestsellers, nonfiction, classics, sci-fi, as the group forms we will see what direction we head...
Initially we can meet the last Sunday of every month (but feel free to make a suggestion in the comments if you want to change, we can also talk it over at the first meeting)
This month's book will be Ender's Game a great fun read to get everyone involved.
"In order to develop a secure defense against a hostile alien race's next attack, government agencies breed child geniuses and train them as soldiers. A brilliant young boy, Andrew "Ender" Wiggin lives with his kind but distant parents, his sadistic brother Peter, and the person he loves more than anyone else, his sister Valentine. Peter and Valentine were candidates for the soldier-training program but didn't make the cut—young Ender is the Wiggin drafted to the orbiting Battle School for rigorous military training."
Very fun young adult level book, be ready to talk about politics, family dynamics, and so much more!
Please bring suggestions for future reads, we'd love to hear everyone's ideas!
