I've heard Arabic my whole life and thank God I'm lucky enough to still have it spoken to me. My parents spoke almost all Arabic in the house when we were growing up. I would answer back in both Arabic and English. I have taken ONE very basic Arabic class over ONE summer in elementary school and amazingly learned to read and write from that! I've hung onto that ability, but working on more regularity and speed!
The goal is more practice with others who want to practice and learn with us...AND we definitely love the generous help from the more advanced native speakers in our community that would like to join us and spread the knowledge and understanding of different dialects. Ahlan Wa Sahlan everyone!
I created it! Ha! Ha!
Marhaba...I grew up speaking broken Arabic & am gradually mending the breaks with a larger vocabulary & better fluency. Both parents are native speakers. We'd love to have you join our fun Arabic learning group!
I love this group!
