How long have you been working with yarn?

I have been crocheting for 13 years, and knitting for 1 1/2 years. I don't know why it took me so long to learn knitting, but I picked it up after I needed another creative route to relax. While I consider crochet to be my strong point, it is true that knitting is so addictive!

What kind of work do you do with yarn primarily (knit, crochet, tat...)

I knit and crochet. Sometimes, I find embellishing my works--such as adding buttons or stitching with yarn into shapes, figures, etc.--are really fun and make pieces more interesting. It took me longer to crochet, since when I was younger I often did embroidery instead. Mixing the embroidery and yarn methods are great.

What is your Ravelry Name?

Hi. I am a college student living in the Twin Cities. Working with yarn is very relaxing, and I love to meet new people who can teach and discuss yarn with me. I also enjoy reading, writing, and working at a library.
