Just to let you all know that the Workmen's Circle has classes on all levels in Yiddish. Nikolai Borudulin is a WONDERFUL teacher. You will listen, read and enjoy various pieces in Yiddish. If you are interested, call them. My class meets every Thurs. night from 6:30-8:00. It's the intermediate class, but they have all levels. Just for your information.

Great idea but...we could find on the internet some easier Yiddish reading
matter so that all could participate. Someone could find and copy them and
bring them to the meeting? This is what Elizabeth, the original organizer
of this meetup used to do and it was great! I still have some of her
materials she copied from the internet. Adela

How about a lehenrkreis? We could all sit together and read a story, or an
article from the Forvertz. Then we could discuss it. This of course requires
at least some more advanced Yiddish speakers. But it's great practice.

Singing is a good idea. We can do it by following songss where the
words are on the screen, Karaoke. We can also do a follow the
bouncing ball. What do you think of this idea?
