Mixed Level Yoga for Seniors

Mixed Level Yoga for Seniors ~ drop in Yoga is open for all ages though encouraged for seniors. This joyful class promotes balance, strength and flexibility by emphasizing the practice of poses in correct alignment at a gentle and mindful pace. We will also practice deep breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques to promote non-judgement, harmony and a calm mind. We move toward challenging postures at a gentle pace, and find individual modifications to fit each student’s needs and ability. This reduced rate class adapts to the needs of seniors and those with chronic pain by helping to lubricate the joints, ease pains from arthritis, gently stretch the body, and focus the mind.
