Green Renaissance Fair: Green and Socially Responsible Yoga
Saturday September 19, 5:30-6:30pm
Holladay Park, NE 11th Ave & Holladay St., Portland, OR

Historically, Portland has embraced the economic, social, and environmental rebirth of the green renaissance movement
by striving to be the greenest city in the country. This fair celebrates Portland's declaration of a "green renaissance," joining
other cities nationwide in the movement (visit the website at http://www.green-rena....
Suresh Srinivas representing Street Yoga is leading a yoga workshop as a part of the fair's evening events. Here are the specifics:

In this workshop we will introduce the practice of mindfulness and yoga. We will learn why it is green and how
the foundation of yoga can be the basis for sustainable living. We will also increase the awareness around social
and service responsibility and discuss the work Street Yoga is doing to bring the benefits of yoga and mindfulness
to those who need it the most, at risk youth and other under-served populations.

Come check out Street Yoga's table and join the workshop
