Introduction to Yoga for Beginners (TBC)
Walking in to your first yoga class in a studio filled with regular practitioners can be intimidating! I know how that feels and still remember walking in to my first yoga class :P I am hoping to turn this Introduction to Yoga for Beginners event into a monthly get together, less-formal outdoor practice at a park. We will breath together, explore meditations, the foundation poses of yoga, correct alignments, get to know each other, and break the ice for some beginners who were intimidated to start their yoga journey. Regular partitioners are absolutely welcome too :) Here are a few things I want to share with you that you may not already know about when youare just planning/starting to practice yoga: The NO. 1 excuse “I can’t/don’t do yoga because I am not flexible enough.” Okay – you DON'T need to be bendy and flexible already to start practicing yoga. I wasn't! and that’s what yoga is for, you silly silly! (and it's really not about how flexible you will become either) Yoga is a lifelong practice. It’s the process, the journey, and how it makes you FEEL that matters. There are many different styles of yoga, but at the end they share the same principle of connecting your breath, mind, body, and practicing self-awareness. If one class didn't work for you, PLEASE don’t give up on yoga. Just try another style and/or teacher. Yoga is for EVERY-BODY. It's really not what you see on the media that only showcase a specific body type in advance postures. The practice is for yourself, your own inner journey, you just need to ‘come as you are’ – nothing more, nothing less. ♥ Please comment below if you have any questions/suggestions!

    A little bit about myself

    I am an E-RYT 200 Certified Yoga Teacher. Teaching various different styles in Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, AcroYoga and AcroFit.

    What a journey it has been! I can't express how much I've learned, grown, and enjoyed crossing path with all the beautiful souls. I am inspired to share the beautiful practice of yoga to empower people to become the best version of themselves, both on and off the mat.

    My intention is to hold a safe space and guide my students in the discovery of their true potential and own inner guru.

    Yoga is about connecting the body, mind, and soul. It also teaches me to connect with everything else in my everyday life. Yoga is universal. It's like a big family no matter where I go.

    My mission is to promote yoga in Hong Kong and create a strong, loving, supportive and welcoming community of people who share the same path, the spiritually uplifting and healthy lifestyle of yoga. That's the reason why I created this sacred group to bond, learn, grow, share, love, and support one another.

    On the side note, I am also a passionate photographer, jewelry designer, crystal lover and healer, traveler, foodie, nature and animal lover :)
