Have you engaged in mindfulness?
I have, and it was wonderful when I finally understood that "mindfulness" (sati) is non-evaluative, nonjudgmental, non-critical awareness of what is, whatever is. "Be here now," says Ram Dass. Be just in this moment. Byron Katie and Eckhart Tolle are telling us today in their own way today. Buddhism repeats and repeats the word "mindfulness," and yet rarely can one find a concise definition that it means remaining aware, vigilant, lucid, awake. Like the opposite of society, going against the stream, it is monotasking without falling into the future or past.
