Meeting Description: Note : This is organized by Hiking-buddies and our leader is Dr. Mehran

This Sunday we will hike in Portola Redwood State Park and continue it to the neighboring Pescadero Creek Redwood Park. We will have lunch in Hiker's Hut. This is a moderate hike of about 12 miles with the elevation gain of 1200 ft. It will take 6 hours to finish.

The direction to the Park is from HWY 280, take Page Mill rd exit to the mountain. Dirve for 6 miles to the junction with HWY35(Skyline Blvd). Continue straight into Alpine Rd and drive for 3 miles to the junction with Portola State Park rd. Drive for 3 miles into this road to the park headquarter. I will meet everyone there at 9:30 AM.

Carpool from the Rite Aide Drugstore at the corner of De Anza and Homestead rd in Cupertino at 8:30 Sharp. Bring some lunch and tea for yourself and share it with the others.
