I was reading an article today on Facebook and it reminded me of what this Meetup used to do, in a way.  Here's the article if you'd like to read it.

I'd like to resurrect the potlucks we used to have, and I think this is a good way to do it.  The basic idea is to choose a cookbook and everyone cooks and brings a recipe from that cookbook to the gathering.

What we have to have first, though, are places to meet.  I'd like to have these once a month, on a Saturday afternoon or evening, so those who work during the week will have time to cook. If you can host, please tell me what month will work for you and I'll write you in and schedule the

Please also share your suggestions for cookbooks to use.  Once we have places and cookbooks I'll coordinate and we'll get started!
