We have been having the meeting place and time at Wedgewood Church on first and third Sundays from 1:30 to 3:30PM, but attendance has been poor. Several people have made suggestions, suggesting that Sunday afternoons, when it is nice out, may not be a time that people want to be indoors for a meeting. Also, identification with a specific church may not be ideal. So, WE ARE TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
WE WILL, INSTEAD, MEET AT
The home of Cathey Franklin (friend):
4525 Rockford Court
Charlotte, NC
AND THE MEETING TIME WILL BE:
7:00 to 9:00PM (I will arrive to open the door shortly before 7:00.)
FINDING CATHEY'S HOME IS EASY:
Turn onto Rockford Court from Woodlawn Road ( between South Boulevard and Park Road, and there is only one way to turn).
Go one block, and it is then the second house on the right past the house on the corner, the 4525 being shown over the porch.
Please let me know if you have any better ideas, and we will discuss alternatives at our meeting.
We have some exciting work to do!
