Maybe all the talk of finding meeting locations made some people realize they could never make it to a meeting, so why not just leave.
And/or maybe they left because they felt overwhelmed with boring emails about meeting locations.

On average, we lose about a member each week, but we have been steadily gaining more than we lose. This flurry of activity may be a mere cluster with no real connection. But it IS odd.
