Dry Creek Station
Directions to the Dry Creek park-n-ride: From I-25 and E Dry Creek Rd., head west on E Dry Creek Rd to the light at S Chester St. Be in the far left lane. Make a u-turn at the light. Now heading east get into the far right lane. In maybe 100 yards the lane vears off for a right hand turn. Now take the left lane that turns up into the park-n-ride. We?ll leave from this park-n-ride at 8:30. Please be on time!!!!

If anyone wants to take charge of a park-n-ride up North let me know.

Directions: Take the Boulder Turnpike (U.S. 36) to Boulder. The highway becomes 28th Street. Turn left on Canyon Blvd./Highway 119 toward Nederland. Zero your odometer. Drive up the canyon and around Barker Dam to the first traffic circle in Nederland (17.3 miles). Take the second right at the traffic circle, Highway 72/Peak to Peak Highway. It's 1.9 miles to the turnoff for County Road 126. (0.2 of a mile from the traffic circle, you'll see a sign for "Caribou", ignore that. Look for the sign for "Caribou Ranch Open Space" about 1.8 miles from the traffic circle) Take the dirt County Road 126, 0.9 miles to the entrance to Caribou Ranch Open Space.

Alternate Route - If you don't want to drive through Boulder you can also reach Caribou Ranch through Coal Creek Canyon (Highway 72) off Highway 93. There's a small parking lot on the corner of 72 and 93 where people can meet and leave cars.
Drive 72 to the intersection of 119 and turn right. Follow into Nederland, take the round about to the Peak to Peak Highway 72 to the Caribou Ranch Open Space sign on County Road 126.

The hike: This hike is just under five miles with very little elevation gain. We'll start this hike around 10:00am.

NO DOGS.
