Announcing a new Meetup for The Newburgh & Cornwall Witches Meetup Group!

Meetup Description: Raising Energy
Let’s get together and raise energy while we practice our drumming. We could use some spiritual drumming at our rituals and festivals so why don’t we start from within. We might never reach the heights of Raquy in technique but we can certain reach those height in spirit.
Come together on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 8:00pm with your drum or something to shake or bang on.
We will be meeting at the bonfire pit at Angel and Paul’s Friendship House.
Bring some snacks and drinks to share.
Direction
From the south on New York State Thruway:
New York State Thruway north to exit 16 (Harriman exit)
Pay toll and continue on Route 17 west
Take exit 130 onto Route 208 toward Washingtonville (Right at the end of the ramp)
Drive 1.7 miles (Keep an eye out for a sign for an upcoming traffic light. There will be a bend in the road).
Make a left on Peddler Hill Road. Make the turn carefully as cars come around the bend quickly. Drive to the end of the road and make a left on Prospect Road.
There will be no houses for a little while. Follow Prospect Road until you reach the second house on the left. There is a barn in front of the house with a driveway just before the barn.
Make a left into the driveway and park. Number 359
From the south on Palisades Parkway
Palisades Parkway north to the Route 6 traffic circle.
Follow Route 6 west toward Harriman (second right off the circle)
Drive down the mountain, across the overpass (over Thruway), across the overpass (over Route 32) toward Goshen and Middletown.
Merge onto Route 17 west. (Follow directions above)
From the west:
Route 17 east to exit 130 onto Route 208 toward Washingtonville. (Follow directions above)
From the north:
New York State Thruway south to exit 16 (Harriman exit). (Follow directions above)
From Brid’s Closet:
Main Street to Route 32 north over bridge
Left onto Orrs Mills Road into Salsbury Mills
Left onto Clove Road (by the statue, art gallery and Hope Chapel – Over the little bridge)
At the end of Clove make a left onto 208 (by the Dunkin Donuts/gas station)
Head toward Monroe. You will pass a bank and small strip mall on the right. There is a light there. Go through the light to the second right – Peddler Hill Road. At the end of Peddler Hill make a left onto Prospect Road.
