Here we go again. Boating/potluck opportunity on Saturday 7/24. Limited to 4-5 paying guests due to boat capacity (900lbs). (Captain reserves the right to final guest list). Bring something to share with the group and get ready to have a blast.

About Allatoona: Lake Allatoona is a beautiful lake close to Atlanta, GA. It?s the most popular lake in Georgia and among the most visited in the whole United States. It?s run by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who built it in the 1950s.

What: Boating (Open bow, 18? ski-boat), Cruising, Tubing, Chillin, and rockin to funky tunes.

Where: Bartow Carver Park (Backup plan - 'Webster Ferry Landing' in Red Top Mountain park). Contact number will be provided to confirmed attendees.

Fee: Boating is $25/person cash (gas & maintenance donation) or $125 for exclusive use [parking - Free at Bartow Carver, and up to $5 for backup plan].

Potluck: I?ll bring individual serving chips, cookies, nuts, & other snacks. You can bring sandwiches, wraps, veggie/fruit tray (easy to eat) etc. Indicate in your RSVP, what you'll bring. BYOB - Feel free to bring a small cooler with your choice drinks. No glass please.

Request: 21 and over. Please adhere to all posted rules & regulations in park. On boat - no land shoes (water socks ok), 1 small bag or small cooler ok. Wear life vest (recommended, provided). No horse play. No smoking; and most important, have FUN. Organizers are not liable or responsible for your personal safety or your belongings. Please use your best judgment and lookout for each other. Waiver needs to be signed at beginning of event in order to attend along with exact payment. Let?s keep it safe & have fun.

Agenda: 1.15 to 1.30pm ? Meet, greet, introductions, waiver forms, and launch the boat (if not already in the water)
1.30pm to 6.30pm ? Make waves and enjoy the SUNNY day. I'll bring the tube if you'd like to be towed. With small group we'll try to accommodate all special requests within reason. If you need to leave early, let your host know ahead of time.

Music ? Feel free to bring your mp3 player with tasteful tunes.

Take I-75 North to Exit #278 Glade rd (towards Acworth) turn right and drive 3.7 mi, turn right at Bartow Carver Rd SE and drive 1.9mi, turn left for park & stay left for boat ramp area. Please park off the road.

Backup Plan: Webster Ferry landing (in Red Top Mountain park). From Bartow Carver park: Right on Bartow Carver rd 1.9 mi. Right on Glade Rd 1.5mi. Stay Right on the fork to continue on Webster Ferry Landing for 0.9mi to the ramp, at end of rd. (Parking - $5 or use your GA state park pass).
