It really depends on the level of interest. Currently I am running two study groups a week.
One on Monday and one on Thursday.  Several of us will also be coming in on every
other Saturday soon, to create video tutorials of the things we are studying in the groups.

I work remotely most of the week except Wednesdays. So on those two days I come into
the office specifically for the study groups. Thus, I'd prefer to keep the MySql/Php study
group on Weds if it's congruent with everyone that wishes to attend. Though I am willing
to be flexible, this just is the best day for me.

As far as what we would study, I'd give folks grounding first in MySQL. I know lots of
folks would want to jump right into dynamic html output. But I've noticed that this tends
to lead to a lot of Database rules breaking. Since that's my skillset, and since there
are reasons for doing things certain ways in a DBMS like MySQL, the first handful
of weeks would focus on that.

From there we would move to PHP.

Actually with both MySQL and PHP I'd like to move those to a very serious level of
study. Such that participants could focus on acquiring the certifications offered by
MySQL AB and Zend. Of course that would take months for some, weeks for others,
depending on knowledge level.

These are just some thoughts, I'm willing to hear others as well.

Unless folks have a preference of days overwhelmingly, it'd be Weds. (Mons and Thurs
are definitely out since they are already study group days).

Because that would add another day to my schedule, I would want to be 100% sure of the interest and participation.
