Thanks so much for the offer, Lenny... I agree that Pivotal is a terrific place to work: I've been touting them at the Meetup for years now. 

Funny thing is, I was already 'sponsored' by one of the guys currently working at Pivotal Labs and didn't even get invited to the RPI! I thnk the HR girl got a little bewildered about what I was looking for: I told her an engineering position but I've got a ton of management experience as well as strong technical background and I think that just confused the issue. Funny because I'd done an RPI with Rob about two years ago and was OK'd for the next round... and then I got too busy with other projects to follow through.

I'm planning to call on some other folks I know there and see if there's a way to work around that -- if you think that resubmitting makes sense, I'm more than happy to send you my resume and have you do that, but I'm not sure it's the best move at this point.

Cool that your picture is on the front page... your "few seconds" of fame... repeatedly :=)

Disclaimer: I was a contractor at Pivotal for about 2 years, but I'm
