The National Cannabis Industry Association is proud to announce our sponsorship of
Students for Sensible Drug Policy's first-ever Job Fair, to be held September 26-28 at SSDP's biennial
Conference + Lobby Day. This multi-day event will bring hundreds of students active in drug policy reform from across the nation to Washington, DC for four days of educational programming, lobbying, networking, and, of course, SSDP's first Job Fair.
SSDP invites you to broadcast your employment opportunities at the
Job Fair September 26-28, where you'll have the opportunity to meet with the largest collection of students and alumni ever gathered.
For just $500, you'll reach today's students and alumni -- soon to be the leaders of the post-prohibition industry.
Contact SSDP today to reserve your spot. Tables are limited!
NCIA member businesses will receive a 10% discount off this cost so don't miss your chance to take advantage of this one time offer!
SSDP alumni are highly sought after employees in the legal marijuana industry, and it's no wonder! Troy Dayton and Kris Krane have become pivotal voices in the national legal marijuana industry, and SSDPers like Josh Kappel, Sean Luse, and Shaleen Title are leaders of businesses shaping the legal marijuana industry. Across the nation, alumni are filling out the ranks of entry- and mid-level positions at consulting firms, service providers, law firms, and, yes, legal marijuana providers.
The Job Fair is just one part of SSDP's new Career Services program which will create a workforce of reformers, educators, policy specialists, and industry leaders who understand the importance of sensible, science-based approaches to marijuana policy and business practices. In just a few weeks, they will launch the
SSDP Job Board, which will offer a discount to NCIA members. Next January, the SSDP Internship Program -- currently in pilot phase with several top NCIA members -- will place talented students in meaningful positions with policy reform organizations and legal marijuana businesses.
