32 mile radius? A little excessive, no? Heck why not make it 320 miles
or even 3,200 miles? Can anyone justify why someone can't fly a
"drone" out over the Pacific ocean or 1/3 of the way across the state of
California from Levi's Stadium. On top of that, a little 7th grade math
(before common core) means the FAA has to enforce the TFR over three
thousand square miles of land and if my calculations are correct, about
11,000 cubic miles of airspace (up to 17,999 feet). I didn't know they
had the resources to do that. When the FAA does stuff like this lose
credibility in my mind. I guess the next step is to implement the same
restriction during any pro sport game, basically shutting down the
entire country's populated area from flying any kind of model plane.
There ain't enough meds in CVS to cause me to think we're on the right
track with all this "drone" stuff. Frank the Hitchhiker.
