You might have to "settle" for a D300s and wait for the D7000 follow-up.... Might find good used deals out there. 

I've bought used before from KEH and they are very reputable. Their rating system is very good—I've bought EX items from them that are clean and don't look used at all (with EX being 4 steps down in rating from NEW!).

Venkat - Good you have the D7000. I am trying to buy a D7000 and not getting it anywhere. Yesterday I went to Best Buy to buy it and it seems that D7000 is not there in the entire state of Georgia - checked online and its the same story.

I am a new member of SPS and D7000 is my first DSLR. Any pointers to any place where I can get a D7000 would be immensely helpful.
