**WELCOME TO AFRICA**
Study djembe and dunun drumming in Africa with masters of the craft in a true cultural and musical immersion. DrumConnection, Boston, is hosting an unforgettable journey to the birthplace of the djembe. On this three-week trip, we will study drum and dance and attend festivals and celebrations. Learn about the country and its people, and discover the magic that is *Africa*. We will be based in Oroko, WADABA's village closer to Mali, West Africa.). We will be guests in an African village, where we will enjoy comfortable accommodations, exquisite African and European food, and the hospitality of the African people.

DrumConnection, New England's premier hand drumming school, has served the rhythmic community for over 30 years. We offer excellent djembe and dunun instruction, from private and group classes to workshops and performances.

We treasure our close ties to Guinea, West Africa, and honor the teachers who have shared their music and traditions with us. In association with Famoudou Konate, Mamady Keita, "Wadaba", Sayon Camara, Fode Konate, Nansady Keita, Bolokada Conde, Namory Keita, Issa Coulibaly, Moussa Traore, Abou Sylla, we are pleased to bring you the rich musical heritage of Africa, the birthplace of the drum.
