Hey Everyone,

 

I hope you can all make it to this Saturdays meeting in San Mateo. We will try to hold next months meet up in San Francisco... We would need to find a really nice location first and I know some of you have some suggestions, I would love to hear from as many people as possible. I will announce the next meetup location at the end of the month.

 

NOW. this Saturday I just want to introduce myself and get to know some of the members of the Group. I will talk about Pixel-Flick TV and our mission to bring work to the area.

 

AS FOR CLASSES OR EVENTS TO LEARN... I will make announcements on that once I pull together more information. Of course we have our post-facility in San Mateo, it is a place where people can learn about Final Cut Pro, Premiere, CS5, Lightwave and Cinema 4D. We also have Sotryboard Pro from ToonBoom and I would like to know if there are any qualified people who use the software..

 

I would like to offer some certified professionals who understand FCP and Premiere as well as Lightwave and Cinema 4D a chance to make some money by teaching others in a 2 day course. And those who would be interested in this two day course, to please make a point to contact me or post your interest here in the group.

 

Another thing we can do is go over Shooting techniques and lighting one weekend as well.

 

We can keep trying to help people learn.. but this group is going to be about developing strong ideas and producing the projects. Acquiring the proper experienced crews .. and those who may not have that much experience, you can shadow others...

 

Since this is an Interactive Group.. I will find events to do for everyone.. Whether they are free events or not are to be determined... But I will plan industry night out events so people can get to know each other on a personal level.

 

ALSO.. during the events.. if you take photos, please send them in.. Any video footage would be great too..
