Beleza NYC presents this rollicking, music-filled Carnaval event featuring a live performance by acclaimed Brazilian band Johnson do Cavaco & Tchuguedinho, a special samba dance performance and a live DJ spinning the latest in world music.

Known for their groovy, danceable mix of Bahian Pagode and Candomble rhythms, New York-based Johnson do Cavaco & Tchuguedinho is comprised of vocalist and cavaquinho player Johnson Bispo, Marcos Mourao on keys, drummer Gil Oliveira and guest percussionist.

Throughout the evening, DJ Beto will spin a fresh, eclectic mix of samba, broken beat, salsa, house, funk and world music. A special samba dance performance will top off what's sure to be a fun night out.
