None of the options have worked for me. When you look at my choices I should not be getting anything and I get everything as it happens. :(

Note that options to unsubscribe are at the bottom of each of these messages. The menu pick says:

Don't send me mailing list messages

I use a filter to put these messages in a separate folder. Given that we can get 30 or more messages on our elist on occasion in a single day, that is an option that can be useful. We do not like to lose our members because they are not fond of a flood of messages. We have lost at least 200 from that process to date. We are fortunately nearing 1,000 members even with those routine loses.

I personally love to have on-line discussions with people who I know locally. We have many hundreds of our members who share my appreciation of this forum. A central function of any community is to provide means to connect with others of like mind. However, each of our members need to choose if they want this particular service or not.

Is there any way I can get off the mailing list for email discussions but still get notifications about group activities?

Thanks.
