Please see the below position.  Starting pay would be somewhere in the $15 an hour range.   They did say that for the right veteran, the experience requirement can be waived.

 

Also, the bookkeeper position that we previously communicated was NOT filled, so they are asking for resumes again.

Position:  Converting/ Set-up Associate

 

Qualifications/Requirements:  A minimum of two years experience in a bag-making or similar converting operation is required.

 

Position Pay: Commensurate to experience and references

 

Responsibilities/Expectations for the position Include:

1.    Set-up and Operate all Bag Machines in Converting Department as required. 

2.    Safely perform set-ups and roll changes as required to keep up with workflow.

3.    Perform minor Maintenance and repairs as required.

4.    Ensure run speeds and set-up times are the most efficient for each machine and product.

5.    Keep scrap/waste to a minimum. Identify waste/scrap and strive for its reduction in the department.

6.    Monitor workflow against expected completion dates and take appropriate action to insure on-time completion of commitments to customers.

7.    Provide for department readiness by ensuring training of personnel, maintenance of equipment, and on-going housekeeping programs.

8.    Ensure all proper order documentation is processed in a timely manner.

9.    Follow all Safety Rules for your department and the plant.

10.  Understand quality as it pertains to your department. Identify best practices, areas for improvement.

11.  Set a positive example for the team members in your area by your attitude, willingness, professionalism, timeliness, work ethic, and attire. Show them courtesy and respect and expect the same from them.”
