Announcing a new Meetup for Weekend Hikers...Plus!

What: Dayhike Roxborough St. Park

When: Sunday, August 29,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Roxborough State Park
4751 Roxborough Dr
littleton, CO 80125

Kim is leading this hike as I am coming back from Wyoming. Thank her.

Wadsworth and Hampden
Address: 3599 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood

Directions to the Wadsworth and Hampden park-n-ride: From Wadsworth Blvd. & Hampden, continue south on Wadsworth Blvd. to W. Jefferson Ave. Right on W. Jefferson Ave., into park-n-Ride. We'll plan on leaving this park-n-ride at 9:15

If someone what's to take charge of a park-n-ride up North just put up a comment. And thanks.

Folks we'll meet at the Waterton Canyon parking lot and drop off a few cars to save us out of work hikers a few dollars on this one since there is a per vehicle entry fee into the park. Please be here by 9:45.

Directions to the Waterton Canyon parking lot: From C-470 head South on Wadsworth. When Wadsworth curves around to the right you turn left. Go about 1/4 mile and the parking lot is on your left. It is not, not, not the first parking lot you come to. That one is for the Bird Center. It's the second one you come to.

We're going to do the trail that 'climbs' Carpenter Peak. The hike is listed as 6.4 miles and Strenuous but this is the easiest 'strenuous' hike you will ever do. It's listed that way because it's a little bit long. It is not seep at all.

Fido must stay home today.
