TODAY, Wednesday, July 25th 7:30 p.m. Film The Trial - A Documentary by Gerald Igor Hauzenberger This event takes place at Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue) Deutsches Haus, ACFNY, and Anthology present a special screening of the recipient of the Viennale Film Festival’s Vienna Film Award in the documentary film category. Filmmaker Gerald Igor Hauzenberger is the artist-in-residence at NYU’s Deutsches Haus this summer, and will be here in person for the screening. Anti-terrorist squads descend upon animal rights activists as if they were the most dangerous enemies of the state. Although there is no concrete evidence against them, they are imprisoned for an alleged conspiracy and malicious injury of property.
