On the cruise ship this Friday, I am thrilled to announce that we will have a special 15 minute performance by LATIN ENERGY DANCE COMPANY.  Latin Energy Studio is based in Mississauga and they teach all types of Latin Dances specializing in Salsa, Bachata and Argentine Tango.   

Vanesa Stay founded Latin Energy Dance Company in 2002. Just a few years later she became the Vice World Champion at the "World Salsa Federation" Pro Classic Salsa Championships held in Miami and she's now one of the judges for the World Latin Dance Cup.   Today, Vanesa Stay trains and coaches teams to perform and compete.  Vanesa has an extensive Latin dance training in Salsa, Argentine Tango and International Latin Ballroom.  She has been in TV shows, & movies such as "Take the Lead" with Antonio Banderas; "Death to Smoochy" with Danny Devito, ”Mansions”, "Party Mamas", "Style by Jury", along-side "So you think you can dance" & "Dancing with the Stars" dancers & judges such as Jean Marc Genereux & Tre Armstrong

Jenalyn & Raymond will open the show with a salsa routine.  They started training with Latin Energy 7 years ago.  These 2 young salsa dancers 12 & 15 years of age have been burning the dance floors in North America and continue to amaze audiences and inspire dancers of all ages.  At their young age, they have already won first place in over 20 competitions, carrying the "WORLD LATIN JUNIOR CHAMPIONS" title:

Vanesa Stay and Sasha Tahiliani will be performing a Modern Argentine Tango for the very first time on our salsa cruise!  Vanesa’s partner, Sasha, has since been teaching, training, and performing Salsa & Argentine Tango with the world's best. He currently runs Salsa with Sasha and teaches at York University. He can be seen on television, travelling the globe, and in films like Tuxedo with Jackie Chan.

To end our show, we have Jenalyn & Raymond performing a tango salsa routine.  The show should be a delight for all dance enthusiasts.  Latin Energy dancers have performed at many private functions and other large events such as CNE International Stage, Bermuda Mambo Nights, Canada Salsa Congress, Multicultural Festival (Michigan), Winter Salsa Carnival; Street Festivals such as "The Burlington Sound of Music" & "Salsa on St. Clair"; other big corporate events such as Sick Kids Foundation Gala, American Express, at the GILBERTO SANTA ROSA salsa concert and much more.

What can I say, except this cruise is going to be a lot of fun!  Try to make it.  We have hit our target of 250 people, but the boat has the capacity for over 400.  We didn’t want to overcrowd the dance floors/tables but we have room for more dance enthusiasts.   Come one, come all!
