  My class mate Trevor Sigler (http://m.soundcloud.com/tsigler3441) is launching his album/senior project on March 23rd at 222 Hyde Street. It is a location recording inspired deep house dance album.  Trevor goes on at eleven and I will be opening the evening and spinning from 9 to 11.

Good news everyone! SFDG has found a very promising new home to host all our events!
BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP! Raven Bar in SoMa has given us the 4th Thursday of every month to host Open Turntables (OTT) as well as a residency where House Music is the driving force. It's a completely renovated, two-level venue with a bar/lounge on the first floor and club upstairs. Their grand opening is on 3/16 and our first event will be on 3/22. As of right now they have given us the bar/lounge where from 5 PM to10 PM we will hold our signature OTT event and then from 10 PM to 2 AM when we will feature SFDG residents along with special guests. They have told us that if our event grows large enough they would be willing to open the club upstairs as well! That means we could host 10-12 DJ's for our OTT event! Everyone would get a more frequent chance to DJ!
BUT... this will ONLY happen if our event does well. You joined SFDG because you like to DJ or you're a fan of what we do. Help us make sure SFDG can continue to host these events by coming and supporting the other DJ's. We've had some ups and downs, but now we have a chance to keep this going at a really nice venue. So do your part, come by, and mingle with your fellow audiophiles - even if it's just for an hour!
