To All Tai Chi Students,

On Sat. Dec. 8, we at the Tai Chi School of Westchester will have a special opportunity to enhance our School's profile as well as bring attention to the many benefits of Tai Chi.

A camera crew from MSNBC will be visiting the School to film our Head Instructor Nicola Briggs teaching a Tai Chi class.

As you may know, the 5' tall Ms Briggs became nationally recognized when she stood up to a sexual predator who targeted her in the New York City subway system. Because of her extensive Tai Chi training, she was able to stop the attack and made sure that the perpetrator was arrested, served time in prison, was deported, and added to the National Sex Offenders Registry.

Her courageous response was actually caught on video by a bystander and posted to "Youtube" where it immediately went viral. This caught the attention of both national and international media outlets. Since then our Head Instructor has been a go-to authority on issues of public violence against women and women's self defense.

Recently she was contacted by producers from MSNBC who requested to film her teaching Tai Chi at our school as part of a story they will be doing on violence against women and women's empowerment.

We would like to invite you, valued members of our student body, to participate in this filming which will surely raise the national profile of Tai Chi in the media and demonstrates some overlooked benefits of Tai Chi.

We're looking for a few enthusiastic students to join us in our Saturday Morning Form Class, 9:30-10:30 am, December 8, 2012. Please recall that it has always been a long standing tradition in the martial arts to help promote the growth of one's school to ensure that it continues to flourish and help students achieve their mental, physical and spiritual goals.

We hope to see you here Dec. 8th and want you to know that the Tai Chi School of Westchester always values your contribution of time and effort.

As a thank you, we'll be giving out Free Tai Chi School T-shirts to everyone who participates that day.

Please RSVP as soon as you can to let us know if you will be participating.

Thank you for support.

Peace and Balance,
Master Domingo Colon
