RFP for APA Website - Final Bids Due FRIDAY

 

Now that the new website has been up for several months, the APA is moving on to the next phase of enhancements for members and other users. We're looking to improve the advertising opportunities on the site by reprogramming the ad spaces to allow for multiple banner ads to appear in rotation and changing the online order form to allow multiple ads to be purchased in one order by the same advertiser.

 

We are also seeking bids to add on the ability for existing members to renew online, as well as improving the appearance of the PDF version of the Guide that can be downloaded from the site real time. We hope to implement these enhancements in phases throughout the remainder of this year.

 

Prospective vendors can bid on part or all of the items. Bidding is open to Arizona companies/individuals only, and all factors being equal, preference will be given to APA member candidates.

Discount Tickets on Sale Now for APA's "Summer Splash Bash" 

 

Join APA on Saturday, July 26, starting at 11:00 a.m. for "APA Summer Splash Bash," a fun-filled family event at Golfland-Sunsplash in Mesa! This event is open to ALL industry professionals and their family members and friends.

 

Sunsplash has numerous water rides available for people of all ages, in addition to the 450,000 gallon wave pool. Older kids and adults can enjoy the Double Dare, The Revolution, Thunder Falls, The Cauldron, The Stormrider, Sidewinder and others. The whole family (or crew) can float together in the Lazy River or play games in the Activity Pool, and little ones will love the Tadpole Pool and Carribbean Water Works. And they have waterslides!

 

Tickets are only $30.00 per person, which includes admission to all Sunsplash attractions AND an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BBQ lunch with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, cookies and unlimited soft drinks! Tickets for toddlers age 2 and under are only $3.00!

 

You can stay in the park all day once you're there from 11:00 a.m. on, but please note that lunch will ONLY be served from 12:30-1:30 PM, so be sure to get there early to enjoy the all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch!

 

We have the HURRICANE POINT pavilion reserved just for APA members and guests from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm, which is covered. Water and soft drinks will be available in the pavilion until 2:30 pm, and can be obtained in the snack bar from 2:30-5:00 pm by showing your wrist band.

 

Free life vests are available for the wave pool and are required for individuals under 48" tall. Other park attractions and rental items are available for additional fees, and guests can visit any of the attractions on the Golfland side of the park for additional fees.

 

Bottled water CAN be brought into the park. Please bring your own towels and plenty of sunscreen!

 

In order to get this special pricing, you must purchase tickets through the APA PRIOR to July 26. Tickets will NOT be available the day of the event.

 

Tickets can be purchased ONLINE NOW, or at Dani's Agency, 434 E. Southern Ave in Tempe. We're working on having some additional locations throughout the Valley where you can buy them in person.
