It would certainly be better than the privately owned Fed bank.  We should have immediately put all the big banks in receivership, clawed back all the hundreds of billions of ill gotten bonuses through civil actions, put an army of agents investigating and prosecuting the fraudsters, and let all the big banks fail in 2008. We could have temporarily  recapitalized  a National bank with Greenbacks issued at no interest, rather than Federal Reserve notes,  divided  7 citizen owned Regional banks to prevent the Economic Armegeddon that Bud Paulsen said was sure to happen if we did not pass TARP and bail out the criminal Banksters.  Local non governmental Banks are an option, but the bad guys get control of them also. Banking will always be controlled by criminal degenerates. They are evil. There aren't too many honest Bankers.

You are seriously considering a National Bank as a GOOD idea?  Whether its as bad as the Federal Reserve or not, do you think that a large national bank is a credible option to resolve our problem?  For me, I prefer local non gov banks.

Congress is in session between the 4th and 21st of March. Therefore, we need to pour in the calls, letters, and to set up meetings both to get co-sponsors on HR 129, plus to get action on getting Glass-Steagall restored. We still need a breakthrough in the US Senate, which would mean getting a sponsor for a bill in the Senate for Glass-Steagall. You can keep track on the growing support on this page  of the website, and find there copies of resolutions which we are fighting for in different states. Call Tim Rush [masked] for backup.
