Hellooooooo everyone !

So, after having had to postpone the november meetup twice for location booking reasons, here it is, almost in december !

:)

In regard of the cold times ahead, our guest speaker this time will be James Sled from Nexus Special Effects Canada, set practical special effects providers (pyrotechnics, weather, etc...), gun wranglers and special effects makeup providers.

He will come to talk to us and answer all our questions about how to design, prepare, budget, order, and shoot those effects for your productions.

You have a project with explosions ? Gunshots ? Rain ? Wind ? Fire ?

You don't have a project yet, but you just want to know for the future ?

The November meetup is for you !

Most important thing : James will also talk to us about a critical issue : safety on set while handling those effects.

Bring your demo reels (DVD or VHS), get ready to learn new knowledge and meet new people !

Let's hope that talking about fire, gunshots and explosions will warm us up a little bit !
