There is the iOS meetup going strong still in town.

Good Afternoon,
I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Ameenah a college student majoring in computer science with a serious interest in mobile application development. I joined this group as a way to meet and share ideas with professionals in my field of interest. However, I guess my bad timing on entering the group the meetings have unfortunately stopped. Getting to my point, if anyone has any information on internships available and could forward information to me that would be greatly appreciated. I have yet to secure a job or internship in my field of study and would love to gain the knowledge. I am hard working, innovative and willing to learn. If you've gotten this far in my novel; I would like to thank you for your time and any leads you can provide.

Subject: Re: [Atlanta-Mobile-Development-Users-Group] Question on downloading songs from apps

You could make a player in app, but no, that would not get music into the library where their Music App would play it.

Thanks Michael. But the users will not be able play these downloaded songs with their existing playlists, right? They have to sync with their computer?

It can't download them "to itunes". I could download them internally, and could also make them so the user could download them from their phone via a small web server.

Hi All,

One of our clients has a website for indie artists to sell their songs. They want an app that can let the users buy these songs and play them on their iDevices. From what I know, Apple will let us download the songs, but the user will only be able to play them through iTunes only after syncing with their computer. Is this assumption right? or is there a way, the app can enable the downloaded songs to be available on the users itunes?

Thanks,
Arul
