• You will write high quality SQL code for an OLTP system
• You will write complex ? and fast - analytical queries on very large data sets (up to 3TB)
• You will develop reusable code according to established best practices and adopted standards
• You will maintain uptime demands on the production system
• You will write technical documentation, assist with testing and maintenance
• You will learn from some of the brightest database experts...anywhere

The specs:

• You must have hands-on professional experience as a database developer working with various databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, Informix, DB2
• You must have knowledge of ANSI SQL standards, advanced programming in different SQL dialects, query optimization, stored procedures/triggers writing, and database performance tuning
• You must have 3+ years of directly related experience in database development
• You must have knowledge of principles, practices and procedures used in all phases of applications and systems development
• You must have knowledge of principles of database design, data acquisition and data access analysis and design
• You must have a BS in Computer Science or a related field
• You must have proficiency in planning and management of scope of work and time estimation
• You must have excellent communication skills
