Thursday/Tomorrow:
MARGE’S BAR
The Marge’s Bar Band will not play tomorrow night at Marge’s Bar due to the beginning of the hockey season. It IS a hockey bar first, remember. They will also not play next Thursday but will resume their schedule of the past – the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. So their next night with the band will be Thursday, October 23 and we’ll sent out the notice in coming jazz blasts.

TIN FISH
Vocalist Mark Randisi and Cliff Monear on piano are playing each Thursday, 7-10 p.m. at the Tin Fish in St. Clair Shores. 24420 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, 48080,[masked], www.tinfishrestaurants.com  The web site has a great looking steak and a martini – yum.

MACOMB MUSIC THEATRE
Gary Greenfelder Orchestra will be playing Thursday Night in downtown Mt Clemens at the Beautifully restored Macomb Music Theatre.  On Walnut St., just west of Main Street and north of Crocker.  Parking is directly behind the theatre and is free in the evening. Special guests: James Hughes (Saxophone), Jimmy Smith (Trumpet) and vocalist Barbara Ware and Aria Cremeens along with our very own Jeniifer Jones, Pete Tocco and Paul Venditti. Cover is $10 and worth every penny!  The sound in this room alone is amazing!  Our show will leave you feel good for sure! Food will be available, along with great music and GREAT FUN … bring a friend with you too!

10-12, Sunday, The Paul VornHagen Trio with Gary Schunk and Kurt Krahnke, Plymouth District Library, 223 Main Street, Plymouth, 3-4 p.m. playing “The American Songbook of Jazz”

10-15, Wednesday, The Modern CAP Band will be playing at the Steinway Gallery on October 15th a 7 p.m. to premier new material as well as play and promote their new album. They will be featuring wonderful instrumentalists around the Detroit area including: Jimmy Smith, Matt Martinez, Joe O'Mara, Jake Shadik, Mark Berger, Caleb Nelson, Daniel Meinecke, Michael Palazzolo, and Skeeto Valdez.
