Brian M. let me know about a new transplant here to Charleston – this man (he’s Italian) and his wife and children moved here a couple months ago and don’t have plans for Thanksgiving. If any of you have an idea of what to do here in Charleston on Thanksgiving, or have a “the more the merrier” attitude when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner, let me know and we’ll hook them up and show them some Southern hospitality!

Don’t forget the “Festa di Mare” at Bacco in Mt Pleasant from which runs through tomorrow, Sat Nov 23. Michael will be cooking up some delicious seafood each night, with a changing menu depending on what’s freshest. Check out the kinds of dishes available on their seafood menu. Call for reservations [masked]) so you’re sure to get a spot!

A big GRAZIE MILLE to Russ & De for offering to host a Christmas Party on Sat, Dec 7th at 6 pm in Summerville! Bring something festive to share (food and/or drink) and if you want to take part in the Ornament Swap, bring an ornament of $5-10. Kids welcome! RSVP here.

Come support next April’s 2nd Annual Festa Italiana in Summerville and join us at the Festa Fundraiser at King’s Pizza on Ladson Rd on Sunday, Dec 1st at 4:30. A $20 ticket (buy in advance from the website) will get you a delicious meal. Wine and beer available for purchase. Plus, a 50/50 drawing and door prizes. RSVP isn’t necessary, but it’s a nice idea – RSVP here.
