Not going to be there but thanks for the communication.
Also, a co-worker has recently had to put down two of her older dogs and has a younger rescue (Dachshund) needing a companion. She was thinking of a Chihuahua as she loves them but wants maybe a mix that would be a little bigger (12 or more pounds). She was thinking that a Pomeranian or mix might be a little bigger and sturdier and a good playmate. Think the Dachshund is about 20 something pounds. They also live close to some wooded areas and while they are with their dogs every nanosecond still don't want one so small that it looks like hawk bait.
Anyway, just asking everybody in the dog world so if you should happen to know of one I would appreciate a quick email. Or I will give you her email and just let her know that i connected you. It is Toni Lambert and email is [address removed]. It is a little hard to see the extra T so just make sure that you include a second T after the lambert. She is the Assistant Director at the Austin Public Library where I work. Her mom is home all of the time (her mom lives with her) and their dogs have always had probably the best care, love, attention, and vet care that any dog could ever dream of!
