Hi Leah,

My name is Quenita.  I have to give it up for Body of Christ Church.  I have been a member there for 4 years now.  The focus is on the Word of God.  Attire is not an issue.  And as Dorothy said, the pastor is young and keeps it real!   He is not a hooper.  He relates the Word to everyday life.  We are a Missions church and involved in the community. Hey Urban Triangle:
   
  I am new to the group and I am wondering if any of you know of a good Black Baptist church in the Raleigh area. When I say good I am thinking, Bible based, Bible preaching/teaching church. Nothing too liberal, nothing too traditional.  In terms of size I was thinking of something way less than a mega church, but not a storefront small church. Something that has young, old and everything in between. A church that has single people/single ministry as I don't have a family yet. However I am not looking for a meat market church. 
   
  Please no "see and be seen" or I'm wearing my new Gucci stilettos...and my Gianni Versace blue leather suit..."don't you want to ride." church. (that was a Klymaxx flashback. sorry I digress. lol) 
   
  It would also be nice if this church is interested in upward mobility; is progressive and active in the community, and comes complete with a great preacher and choir and praying Mother's board. You know you need them! smile. 
   
  Boy this church I am asking for might only be found in Heaven... lol. Anyway doesn't hurt to ask. Please let me know.
