The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland is the birthplace of Scala, created by Martin Odersky, co-founder of Typesafe. Martin and the EPFL, with the world’s highest concentration of Scala experts, continue to lead the way in Scala developments.
Is your company interested in capitalizing on the EPFL’s leading edge developments in Scala and other Typesafe technologies?
We are Western Switzerland’s economic development agency that represent the interests of the region surrounding the EPFL. Our agency engages with US technology companies, irrespective of size, to offer free assistance and access to a combination of technical, academic, commercial and fiscal characteristics that make Switzerland an ideal location from where to develop or expand their technology and/or business.
On November 6th we will be visiting Atlanta to meet with decision makers who would like to learn more about Switzerland as a business location and the Scala environment at EPFL, who can offer premises, access, collaboration, and other forms of support to companies. If interested in having a one-on-one informational discussion, please contact Matt Julian at [address removed] to schedule a convenient meeting time.
