I'm not sure which places do short-term drop-ins, but these are my favorites in DC:
WeWork (http://wework.com) - Dupont, Shaw, and ChinatownCanvas (http://canvas.co) - near FarragutI'm sure there are lots of others that folks can offer, but those two options both have locations in areas well-served by public transit and surrounded by decent food/coffee options. On Wed, Sep 30, 2015 at 10:35 AM, Matthew Hutchinson <[address removed]> wrote:Hi all,
I'm visiting DC and I thought I'd drop into the Hack Night meet up on the 27th.
I'm a long-time Ruby developer, based in the UK (London) and i'll be in Washington for 2 weeks in October (mostly to work remotely).
I was going to ask if anyone knows of any good co-working spaces downtown?
With good wifi, good coffee and nearby lunch spots?
I'm staying a few blocks away from Lafayette Square, but don’t mind traveling a bit to get to one.
Thanks!
Matt
