That almost runs into Christmas!  There are many people who are busy with this holiday.  It sounds like fun, but definitely not a good time of the year for a trip.  Heygirlg

What: Winter in Death Valley

Shooting Death Valley third week in December. Meet at Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley 3:pm December[masked]. Plan to either camp in adjacent campgrounds or stay in Stovepipe Wells. Rooms run around $125.00 and up. Rooms are clean and basic. There is a grocery just down the road for food and there is a restaurant nearby. Some of us have RV's and other's camping gear. We will start each day before sun-up to get the best shots and end after sundown. Plan on being in DV for 3 days then we will caravan East to Rhyolite a ghost town, (Beatty, Nevada). There are a couple motels in Beatty (google Rhyolite accommodation). This is the Eastern gateway to DV. We'll stay there one day. Then on to Las Vegas. One of the group knows places in LV were we can park for free. Plan LV for one nights shooting, then u r on your own to stay, lose your spare change or go exploring in the Mojave Desert. This is a five day road trip.
