Meetup Description: Being a girl who has been raised in the South, I love me some barbecue. Also, having grown up in the Colonial Heights-Petersburg area, barbecue to me means King's Barbecue. I know that this is a haul for some of you but believe me when I tell you that you won't regret it. One taste of their pulled pork barbecue with cole slaw and finishing up with their famous apple pie, and you'll know why King's is the best!

Yes, it is down in Petersburg but it's very easy to get to and well worth the trip. Please consider joining me for some of the best barbecue that you'll ever put in your mouth. For those who are nervous about driving in Petersburg (I promise we will be in a very safe part of town), you are welcome to meet up at my house in Colonial Heights and drive together to King's. If you would like to do this, please email me privately at my personal email address or through the system and we can arrange that.
