I'm in communication with a lot of organizations that working with teaching kids how to code. I'm working with a team mate who is planning an event a the United Nations for  NYC Camp in July for women in technology. If anyone wants to participate in either program in anyway please contact me and I'll be more than happy to provide information or point you in the right direction. I know plenty of people who are willing to mentor also and other hackathons that are happening throughout the city.
