Spanish boys need homes this Friday for 10 days only!

Urgent: Spanish boys need SHORT TERM host families!

I have a wonderful opportunity to share. I have some great students coming from Spain and am in need of families to host them during their stay in Richmond. I am looking for families to Host one of two boys from 6/25-7/6 or 6/25-7/10. The boys need a different family during that time since their families have to be out of town.

The students are here to accomplish two goals:
    1. to improve their English speaking skills through being with the host families.
    2. To immerse themselves into their American host family and learn about our culture.

The host family requirements are:
    1) Students must have their own bed. They can share a room with a child of the same gender, if necessary, as long as they have her own bed and some space of their own. They would be eating breakfast and dinner with the host family, and will need to pack a lunch to bring to class. Sight seeing is not necessary, but up to the host family. The teens bring their own money to participate in events with the host family and the host family is not expected to pay for their way.

    2) Host families get them to and from their 3 field trips per week, but transportation can be arranged.

    3) Your student should be treated as part of the family, and will eat what you eat and maintain the same basic schedule as your family.

    4) Families should consist of a single parent or a two parent home with children. However, we do have several families that host successfully, which consist of a married couple with no children in the home.  We are not allowed to place a student with a single person. Although, single adults do host my adult escorts and enjoy that experience very much!

Please let me know if would like to host. Thank you, and please tell everyone you know living in the Richmond/Henrico area you think might be interested in this opportunity! I can send you a calendar and the profiles of the 2 boys right away.
