The Richmond Book Club has been on Meetup since 2006. Recently the club decided to transition to Bookclubs.com as the group's platform. We will continue to post Events on Meetup until the end of 2026 so that visitors to Meetup can see what we're reading. If you are interested in attending, please use this invitation link to our new site on Bookclubs.com

We encourage you to follow the link, create a free Bookclubs membership, and accept the invitation. We will still have our Meetup page, but its primary function will be to direct people interested in our Events (which will continue to be posted on Meetup for the rest of the year) to the new club on the Bookclubs platform. Our September meeting will be posted on August 17, 2026. Starting with the September meeting, members will need to register on the club’s new site. We will continue to meet at Capital Ale House-Midlothian (13831 Village Place Drive, Midlothian) on the third Wednesday of the month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. If you have questions or experience difficulty getting into the new site, contact Pat Woodson (pawoodson@msn.com) or Jeremy Raw (jeremy@jeremyraw.com) and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

The book we're reading is Nine Lives (Peter Swanson, 2022).
