Since it?s a park, shoot me a text or call and we all can meet up:[masked]. Mears Park is a beautiful, small park so you can?t miss the bandshell -- & nice to walk around the water fall and check out the beautiful flowers. Parking is pretty good in Saint Paul (though my perspective is from Chicago), but if you have troubles I can guide you. I don?t think they allow coolers, with yummy food from Barrio and beverage already for sale. They have some seating but you may wish to bring a blanket or chairs. There?s also Barrio, Bulldog, and other restaurants across the street from the park.

? Stay for the movie in the park afterwards=Grey Gardens *
I love this movie ? you should definitely stay n watch if you didn?t catch it. Because I saw it twice not too long ago I may or may not see it again.

Halloween, Alaska:
"[FOUR STARS]...HALLOWEEN, ALASKA's emotive verve and electro-organic poise is so accomplished, you'd think you'd got your hands on The Blue Nile's mislaid comeback album." ?Mojo Magazine

?Every song awaits its own Gossip Girl montage. You won't find Halloween, Alaska, anywhere on a map. Instead, this Minnesota band inhabits a sensual, weightless world of sweetly brooding electronic pop. ("All the Arms Around You," from their 2005 self-titled debut, soundtracked an especially pensive Seth Cohen moment on The O.C.) Their third album refines that warily optimistic worldview, with drummer David King (also of the Bad Plus) adding tastefully muted beats while James Diers' abstract lyricism wraps you in a sleepy caress.? ? Caroline Smith & the Goodnight Sleeps:
Indie/folk/pop. You may have caught their feature on ?MN Original? (If you haven?t seen it, definitely find it and watch on PBS ? a newer, wonderful show on TPT about Minnesota artists sponsored by our Legacy Fund MN taxes I personally wholeheartedly support.)
